Group

Who are we?

Founded by Laurent Dumas, Emerige is one of the main players in the real estate sector in Paris and surroundings. It specializes in the development of office and housing buildings as well as in the refurbishment of real estate assets. Since 2014 the company is also established in Spain with building programmes in Barcelona and Madrid.

For almost 30 years, it has built a reputation of excellence by bringing together heritage, art, and innovation, and collaborating with the best architects, designers and artisans.

EMERIGE HAS AN INTUITION FOR GREAT PROJECTS.

In 2016, it was named winner of “Réinventer Paris” (a competition for innovative urban projects launched by the City of Paris) for its ambitious program “Morland Mixité Capitale” (43,000 square meters in the heart of Paris), which includes an intervention by the artist Olafur Eliasson. It also launched an emblematic housing program with an architectural design inspired by nature, UNIC, in the Batignolles neighborhood (Paris, 17th arrondissement).

Since January 2017, The Group and its partner AOG are also developing a major project: a cultural and artistic hub on the upstream end of the Ile Seguin (Boulogne-Billancourt), which, once completed, will be one of the biggest cultural hubs in Europe. RCR Arquitectes (recipients of the 2017 Pritzer Prize), Baumschlager Eberle and CALQ are responsible for the design of this project.

In October 2017, Emerige was named the winner of the competition “Inventing Greater Paris Metropolis” (Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris). Following a call for proposals, its project “La Fabrique des cultures” was selected to be developed in 2018, in partnership with the Compagnie de Phalsbourg.

EMERIGE, AN ACTIVE PATRON OF CULTURE.

Convinced that art can change everyday life, the Group supports young French artists, through initiatives such as the Emerige Revelations Grant, and supports artistic and cultural education programmes. It also encourages the presence of art in the city with the acquisition and commissioning of contemporary artworks as part of the “1 immeuble, 1 oeuvre” charter, an initiative it co-founded in 2015 under the aegis of the French Ministry for Culture. Over the past year, it has financed the creation of over forty works of art to be presented in buildings constructed or restored by Emerige.
